This app gives you great business news but at a cost: It covers the entire screen with ads you didnt ask for. When you click on a story, the ads are delayed from the content so that you inadvertently click on them while scrolling. But I think it deliberately shows you full-screen ads when you havent clicked on them. I just close the ad, sometimes before its loaded, and continue reading.
[Note: This seems to be fixed.] Bug alert: About half of the graphics are missing and a placeholder is shown instead. The placeholder is the word "Bloomberg" with a colorful background. Clicking on the image doesnt help.
The content is great. There are many charts from the Bloomberg terminal ($$$) that you wont see elsewhere. However, many stories have a disclaimer that Bloomberg doesnt necessarily approve them. They seem as well written as the stories without the disclaimer, so I dont see why the disclaimer is needed.
July 4, 2016: One thing thats driving me crazy is the slow rotation of stories, perhaps because many reporters are on vacation. One story near the top is "For $13 Million You Can Live the Tuscan Life in Greenwich, Conn." I swear this story has been sitting here for two weeks and I just want it to go away. Update July 9: The Tuscan story disappeared for a couple of days but now its back. Im going to avoid the app for a week in the hope it just goes away.
Rated two stars due to the incessant full-screen ads and the stories that live forever.
