its kind of astounding that this app seems to get worse with every release. every release brings more bloat and useless crap and fails even further at the simple point of the app. news and quotes.

Outstanding news coverage. Well written. Microscopic font. The thing that you tap to enlarge the font is useless.

This app gives you great business news but at a cost: It covers the entire screen with ads you didnt ask for. When you click on a story, the ads are delayed from the content so that you inadvertently click on them while scrolling. But I think it deliberately shows you full-screen ads when you havent clicked on them. I just close the ad, sometimes before its loaded, and continue reading. [Note: This seems to be fixed.] Bug alert: About half of the graphics are missing and a placeholder is shown instead. The placeholder is the word "Bloomberg" with a colorful background. Clicking on the image doesnt help. The content is great. There are many charts from the Bloomberg terminal ($$$) that you wont see elsewhere. However, many stories have a disclaimer that Bloomberg doesnt necessarily approve them. They seem as well written as the stories without the disclaimer, so I dont see why the disclaimer is needed. July 4, 2016: One thing thats driving me crazy is the slow rotation of stories, perhaps because many reporters are on vacation. One story near the top is "For $13 Million You Can Live the Tuscan Life in Greenwich, Conn." I swear this story has been sitting here for two weeks and I just want it to go away. Update July 9: The Tuscan story disappeared for a couple of days but now its back. Im going to avoid the app for a week in the hope it just goes away. Rated two stars due to the incessant full-screen ads and the stories that live forever.

Cant think of an iPhone app with as frequent problems as Bloomberg. Now, when I open the app, the Bloomberg name comes up on a black screen for 1 second and then it goes back to the iPhone portal. Cant use it

Content is solid but app is very bad. It systematically crashes all the time. Its ridiculous and gives a bad image of one of the richest company in the tech world!

Its a shame that you cannot be straight forward and true. Had to leave you due to your inaccurate and "follow the pack" lean to the left. You hurt our country more than you know or want to know.

Very disappointed to say my favorite app period, is going downhill. Others have expressed dissatisfaction with the in-article ads. They are awful. They take forever to load and the page jumps around and you loose youre spot on the page. Also the home page used to house the most relevant news articles so you can quickly catch up on recent developments. Now its host to what seems to be fluff articles about summer beers and million dollar homes. Stick those ad-like articles where they belong, in the lifestyle section. Bring back the former glory of this business news app or Im moving on to Pulse news. Which I ditched when it required a LinkedIn account, which made no sense as the two are completely unrelated.

This app his by far my favorite for following index and market rates. The only thing I want to see would be more bond market options including historical rates like you can see in index rates. Also, other bond sector performance would be great including agency rates, municipal, corporate etc.

Its a shame when theres an app or website that just gets it right and yet still decides to make an overhaul for no apparent reason. This used to be my go to business app. Well ahead of CNBC or Yahoo Finance. The overhaul is horrific, they are not focused on content or substance anymore. Now its about the glitz and colors. What a shame Bloomberg. Now I know why it used to be a 4+ start rated app and now its at 2.5.

I cant get articles to load. "This article is currently unavailable". What happened to offline reading?

I spent an hour adding lots to companies in my watch list only to find later they were not stored. The watch list is now unusable.

Terrible and unprofessional. This app reflects poorly on Bloomberg. It delivers some of the worst banner ads. Its been in a 18 month death spiral. Bloombergs content is good but theyve ruined this app with bloat, annoying "features" and now even more adds. Im going to Yahoo Finance.

Im a professional investor and I feel like Im dealing with a childrens app. Its not "cute" when Bloomberg places ads within an article, yet delays its execution and placement, tricking the reader to accidentally click when theyre scrolling down. This tactic serves no purpose but to manipulate and pander to advertisers who dont know the difference. The number of click-thrus is only a fraction of truly interested customers. When it happens I vow to never purchase anything from the advertiser and further reduce using this service which is been my primary use of news for many years.

Its so annoying to wait for this app to load. Hope it gets fixed.

Instead of banners, iAds, this app embeds floating sneaky big frame of ads inside of news, and place it the moment when you scroll, right under your finger. Really, Bloomberg? I thought you are better than this.

This app on my iPhone SE does not work. My iPhone 4 has an older app which works perfectly with no ads. Do not download this app or update your old one.This app is not what one would expect from Bloomberg.

Ads are too frequent, too big, too "in the way," and too easily triggered. Its an approach to advertising that one might expect from a purveyor of gossip or pornography. It is often impossible to complete an article without unintentionally activating one or more ads.

Ive been using Bloomberg apps since I had my Blackberry Bold 9000. Im really not sure why all of the 1 star ratings, this app is pretty great! Im going to have to reopen it and see if I can find these "horrible ads" everyone is mentioning. I use this daily and I must just naturally ignore them... The reason I dont give this app 5 stars is because Id really like to be able to change the screen the app opens up to. I pretty much exclusively use the app to track my watchlist, so it would be much easier if it opened to my watchlist instead of news.

The app updated today. Every time I click on it the app crashes and goes back to phone home screen

Crashes on start. Fix please.
