Bloomberg: Business News Daily App Reviews

Hey guys my favorite feature of my needs feed is to click on the news of the day and have it read to me. In the latest update the woman sounds like she is mentally slow not the nice fast reader as before. Please fix that feature. Its one of the best as no one else has this feature. Thanks

Pop up ads randomly appear and open a browser window. Doesnt happen all the time but when it does it is impossible to get through an article. Otherwise I like the other features and navigation tools.

New app update force opens pop up adds multiple times to full screen. Im not even clicking on them or even seeing them in the section Im reading & they still fully pop up. Unable to find link to email support. Have loved the app for years. Please fix!

I just tried to read current articles and was overwhelmed by the Barclays ad. Not once but 15 times with no recourse. Current version becoming an ad billboard not a news center.

Im ok with ads but not pop-ups that I dont even click on. I will delete this app if it continues. Its very annoying.

Would not let you read anything. The pop up ads initially made me wonder whether my phone was infected with virus.

Barclays video ad clicks on itself while scrolling through the list of stories And while reading articles, sometimes multiple times in the same article. On occasion Ive seen other ads click on themselves too. Advertisers dont want to pay for "fake" clicks which means that Bloomberg probably consciously made a decision to use a second rate advertising provider that doesnt screen the ads as well as it should.

The unprompted and repeated playing of a Barclays ad makes this app close to useless. Users will stop reading news and then delete the app.

Fix the run away pop-ups!!!!!!!!!!!! (Used to be 5 stars for me)

Like others Im getting the same ad popping up taking over my screen every 10 seconds making it so frustrating Im posting my first app review ever. Please fix asap because it makes the app useless.

Update- 3/11/16, theyre at it again. Every update comes with forced full page video ads. Just terrible. Avoid at all costs! Random full page video ads pop up every 5-15 seconds making this app useless.

As many other users have noted, the Barclays ad repeatedly comes up on auto play, despite watching it through 20+ times, the ad regardless of the article or page continually plays. This is a huge content management issue and drastically reduces the user experience. Coming from the tech industry, this poor implementation of the ad model not only affects Bloomberg, but also its advertising partners.

Renders app useless

Probably the most aggressive Advertising I have ever seen on a News App. Ads appear approximately every 30 seconds. One is unlikely to be able to read a single article or scroll through a news feed without having to close out a minimum of 3 ads. Pop-ups have made this app completely unusable. After much enjoyable reading, I am surrendering this app in favor of alternative news sources.

Bloomberg seems to be more and more willing to sell out its customers. With so many ads it makes you question the integrity of their articles

I had to delete it. This used to be a nice app. Now there’s a pop-up video that takes over the entire display. It might be a really long video ad, but I can’t really tell. I never turn on the sound when reading the news.

Crashes on opening. Havent been able to use it as nice last update. Also, why is mobile watchlist buried so deeply in menus? Quality going down hill. Looking for alternative.

The constant ads are extremely annoying!!! The app crashes my phone all the time.

No new articles; the most recent one is from May 2015. other sites/links/stories are broken

London AIM listed stock prices are a day old now since an update a few months ago. Used to love this app now I dont trust it.
